Zenmuse H3-3D "Phantom Version", is the only difference no GCU? will the cheaper "Phantom Version" accept the ribbon cable from the GCU and thus work on a non Phantom? thanks!

I have heard yes. So if you had one crashed it, you can buy the phantom version and just use your old GCU.
