Finally I am here

After going on and on in my mind about joining a Multi Rotor forum . I finally gathered the courage to to this.
HI,
I am MJ. and the only thing i know about Quads is that they look cool flying. which probably lead me to the biggest mistake of my life. building my own -.-
Anyway I am facing millions of problems because i convinced myself that if I were to own one it should be built from ground up by me. bellow is my hardware if you have any ideas (other than throw it in the trash cause i thought about that on my own ) please tell.

1000KV Outrunner Brushless motors
ZIPPY 3000 - 20 c - 3 cell 11.1v
Power distribution is handmade
Quad body is aluminum - handmade too - ugly and not perfect but I think it can do the job

@SirMj , first of all, welcome to MultiRotorForums.com! We love everybody but especially people that take it upon themselves to dive into building/flying multi-rotor helicopters from scratch!

Post some photos and then tell us a few of the basic problems that you're having. We've got some people that know the KK boards. Everything else is more universal so there will be a lot more people that can help.

Photos and basic questions to start and we'll get you flying.

I did not expect such a warm welcome . thank you very much
please excuse the quality of the pictures it is the best I can do at the moment.
I have not connected everything yet since I am still thinking about what changes that I need to make .

One of my biggest problems at the moment is mounting the Flight control board. and what is the best way since I need it to work perfectly .
my Second problem is calculating my thrust exactly. I have spent countless hours searching without finding a good scientific way to calculate it. take into consideration I am an aerospace engineering student (one would think this would be easy for me).

great compliment made me rethink throwing it in the trash . although I am already designing a 3D model in hope of 3D printing it and using it.
now that I am actually doing it . the challenge is great

that video was greatly helpful . which makes me want to make the same experiment at my uni lab
